I made this project for one of my 3D animation exams, it was inspired by the tale of Hansel and Gretel, focusing on the witches candy house in the woods. This is a loose inspiration though as this house is much less threatening and more welcoming and cute. I also chose this project as I couldn't find it to have been done in 3D too much, and wanted to keep the idea as unique as possible.

I made this in 3ds max and rendered it in vray. Vray really helped with this project as I needed the sweets to look at least slightly glossy, which I achieved by making them vray textures, as well as this I put a slight displacement on the ginger bread to give it a more 3D feeling. The model itself is quite simple but the execution seems to have worked well, fitting the inspiration but still being cute and inviting.
